After heavy influence from watching the famous Arnold films and WWE I have always wanted the perfect body, so I first joined a gym around the age of 19. However I didn’t consider competitive bodybuilding until I was 32. Take it from me, it’s never too late to follow your dreams!
My first competition was the UKBFF North West bodybuilding show where I took home 2nd place. In 2015 I took 2nd again at the UKBFF North East bodybuilding show, it was that same year I won my first competition at the Mr Lancashire bodybuilding show and ever since I have been living the bodybuilding lifestyle and striving to improve year upon year. My aka name Blade was born from the condition I was getting myself into for the stage, ” cut to shreds” as they say!
It wasn’t until this year my true potential was met and with the boosting help of Nefertiti Stagewear Trunks I have won 3 competitions in a row. This includes 2 times Tall Class 1 champion and overall at the PCA North West and the IBFA Mr Derbyshire which just makes my love for this sport grow stronger. It was a dream come true not only for myself, but my amazing partner and everyone close around me. After these competitions the support that come through from people was amazing, it took a while for everything to sink in! I’m now looking to complete my great run with winning the IBFA British Finals this coming Sunday. The winning streak still continues.
